Lisa is a Principal Consultant at Synergia. She is based in our Auckland office.

Lisa views the world through a lens of connection, collaboration, compassion, culture and curiosity.  She is visionary and future-orientated, and her ability to engage and inspire others on a journey of change can deliver transformational results.

Lisa is an experienced healthcare consultant and strategist having spent 27years in both public and private health sector roles across Aotearoa. A natural collaborator, Lisa enjoys working closely with like-minded colleagues who are inspired to transform thinking, systems and services to meet the needs of todays and tomorrow’s healthcare consumers. A creator and innovator, Lisa has spent much of her career researching and designing person/whānau centred programmes that are flexible, personalised, centred around equity values and deliver impactful outcomes. Over the last few years, Lisa has played a key role in implementing the new Integrated Primary Mental Health Service into primary care, which combine two of Lisa’s specific areas of interest, Behavioural Health and Mental Health.  Lisa has also worked closely with multiple Māori and Kaupapa Providers, both nationally and regionally as part of their early journeys towards transformation and Pae Ora and has enjoyed supporting collective and social impact projects in the mental health and equity space.

As a proud Mum of two adult Ngāpuhi tamariki, Lisa has a strong focus on pro-equity approaches and describes herself as an ‘active ally’– applying conscious bias towards assessing how health policies, design and services might impact Tangata Whenua
